Angel Rivera, D.O.
Dr. Angel Rivera grew up in a household that encouraged proper nutrition and good health. As he was being trained in medicine, he felt there was a gap between prevention through lifestyle choices and treatment of acute disease. As he looked for avenues to correct this disconnect, he discovered functional and integrative medicine, which he felt was an extremely effective way to combine both prevention and treatment to better serve his patients.
Dr. Rivera provides primary care services to patients of age 18 and older. He approaches all of his patients with the same care and professionalism. If patients are interested in utilizing an integrative and function treatment approach, then he employs those methods. In addition to traditional care, he also does specialty testing to shed light on a patient’s disease process which allows him to better diagnose and treat my patients.
You will see that Dr. Rivera takes his time to make every effort getting to know his patients as individuals. He evaluates not only what is bothering you, but also how you live, what food you eat, how you sleep, your level of stress and the activities and hobbies you enjoy.
There is no rush when seeing his patients. He completes a thorough evaluation and works together with you to create your personalized care plan. Having you involved in the decision making process is extremely important to you success and no one knows that better than Dr. Rivera.
He looks forward to welcoming and meeting you at The Clark!
